How do I open my clipboard history?
With Clippy running, press Command–Shift–V, or click the Clippy icon in your Mac’s menu bar and choose Open History. You can change the default shortcut in Clippy’s Settings under Open History.
How do I paste a saved clip?
Open your history with Command–Shift–V or the menu-bar option above. Select a saved clip and press Command–Return to restore it to the system clipboard. Switch to the app where you want it, then press Command–V to paste.
Can I use it with my iPhone or iPad?
Clippy can capture supported content when Apple’s Universal Clipboard makes it available on your Mac. It depends on Apple’s Handoff settings and availability, so it won’t save every copy made on another device.

No. Capture starts off. You choose Enable Capture and allow clipboard access in macOS. You can pause capture and ignore applications in Settings.
